Since February 2003, Sam has interned for Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle in the Scheduling Department and moonlighted in the external relations department.

After graduation, Sam will be attending graduate school at either UW-Madison or at George Washington Unviersity to study environmental policy or political management, respectively. When he grows up, he would either like to be Josh Lyman from "The West Wing" or in the Yakuza.

Sam enjoys camping, canoeing, hiking, playing the tuba, biking, reading, video games, Aaron Sorkin Movies and TV shows, The Simpsons, Pat Mccurdy, and random, uselss trivia. He also enjoys a good weiss beer.

His favorite movie is "Chinatown." He most recently read "The Tipping Point: How little things make a big difference."

Favorite Quote: Each time a person stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others...he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope, and crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring, those ripples build a current that can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance. -Robert F. Kennedy
